Our last destination yesterday was Laurelhurst Market. No reso. That's okay. We enjoyed a 1991 Lopez de Heredia Rioja Blanca Reserva "Tondonia" while we waited for a table. Wow.

Once seated we threw down. "Egg in the Hole," Fried Green Tomatoes, Grilled Eggplant Caponata & lots and lots of meat.

We also ordered bottles of Chateaunuef-du-Pape & Bandol. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out.

Going to the wine country now.
