I remember Brian from last year when we took the MS. I compared notes with him after we were both finished with the Tasting section. I remember, we thought we had concluded correctly on the reds, but really struggled on the whites. We conferred again after the Theory portion, when we were waiting to find out the results. I asked him how he did and really liked the basketball analogy he gave [paraphrasing a little here], “there were some easy layups and a slam dunk or two, but an uncomfortable amount of half-court shots.” That’s how I sort of felt, too. In the end, it was only Kathryn Morgan who passed last August.Now this, his second time to take the exam, he passes it. Congratulations to Jenniver Huether, Dustin Wilson, Brian McClintic, Matt Stamp, Anthony Anselmi and Jason Heller [picture above left to right]. Nicely done.
